Luovuuden Lakeus (Fields of Creativity) is a Finnish social enterprise and care-farm–based wellbeing organization that combines nature, animals, creativity and experiential methods to support individuals, families and communities.

Founded in South Ostrobothnia, Finland, it has become a nationally recognised pioneer in experiential social services, animal-assisted interventions and innovative therapeutic work.

Luovuuden Lakeus operates on a care-farm model, where horses, sheep, dogs and natural environments are integrated into professional social and mental health services. Its mission is to bring hope, dignity and human connection to those in vulnerable situations.

Innovation Ambassador – Sonja Jokiranta

Sonja Jokiranta is a Finnish Innovation Ambassador whose work stands at the intersection of creativity, care, nature connection, and social innovation. She represents a new generation of rural innovators who build bridges between wellbeing, culture, community, and future-oriented development.

As a pioneer in experiential and nature-based social services, Sonja has spent over a decade shaping Luovuuden Lakeus into a unique care farm and creative wellbeing environment. Her work combines embodied methods, art-based practices, animal-assisted approaches, and systemic thinking, always with a clear mission:
to bring hope, dignity, and humanity to people in vulnerable situations.
